Public Forum Series

The Fairbanks Bill of Rights Defense Committee presents the next in its continuing series of public forums:

Alaska State Resolution

In addition to sending Mike Lawless to Juneau as the Committee's spokesman, the Committee worked with members of the Alaska Legislature to help bring about passage of House Joint Resolution 22, Alaska's resolution decrying the USA PATRIOT Act.

Fairbanks Resolution

Shortly before Christmas 2002, the Committee  began meeting to discuss strategy. Efforts were ultimately successful, when on January 6, 2003 the Fairbanks City Council passed Resolution No. 4036.
